Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, therapeutic, or diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia care plans.
• Manage anesthesia-related emergencies and complications effectively.
• Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care as needed.
• Stay current with advancements in anesthesia practices and integrate them into clinical practice.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Active and unrestricted RN license in New York State.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in a hospital setting, particularly in a Level I trauma center or large academic medical center.
• Familiarity with a variety of anesthesia techniques and patient populations.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
