St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a full-time Hematologist Oncologist to serve as Medical Director for our outstanding and well-established Cancer Care program at St. Peter's and Samaritan Hospitals located in Albany and Troy New York.100 hospital-employedThe Medical Director will lead a team of five physicians and four advanced practitioners. The practice enjoys access to a tumor boards program grand rounds and treats a wide range of cancers including ample access to high quality surgical services from breast to thoracic to hepatobiliary/pancreatic care. There is strong APP support in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Our multi-site practice has two beautiful locations both located on hospital campuses. The cancer program at St. Peter’s Health Partners includes not only Hematology Oncology but also Radiation Oncology a full suite of surgical services full Radiologic services and complimentary services as well.Outpatient clinics located on hospital campusSchedule: Clinic Mon-Fri 40 hour work week daysCall Rotation: 1:5Patient Demographics: Adult only50/50 Hem/Onc — must be interested in providing both Oncological and Hematological careNumbers of physicians in practice: 45 FT Rad Onc physicians on-site5 APPs on siteAverage number of patients per dayoutpatient: 20-30Average number of patients per dayinpatient: 15-20440 bed community hospitalEMR: EpicRequired procedures listed in attached practice descriptionOpen to H-1B visa candidates but cannot accept J-1 waiversCompensation and Benefits: Compensation range: 450000 and 600000 per year. The base salary is guaranteed with RVU and quality incentives…in total cash the former Medical Director was on track to make 800k- some of the providers in the team in total cash earn 950k. The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses incentives related to quality and performance extra shift incentives and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Starting BonusRelocation Allowance if applicable: The amount is determined by the distance they are moving from to the facility. It is a reimbursement-based system.
