Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Urology Department, including performing evaluations, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans.
• Assist in surgical procedures and conduct post-operative care for urology patients.
• Collaborate with urologists and the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Participate in patient education, ensuring they understand their conditions and treatment options.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with licensure in New York State.
• Previous experience in urology or a related field is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform procedures and manage complex cases.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in a urology setting.
• Experience with both inpatient and outpatient care environments.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telehealth services.
